A March 5, 2024 Town Hall explained the User Group process and solicited volunteers to “collect essential information to provide to Archilogix that would enable them to develop three conceptual designs for community review and discussion.”

Five User Groups were formed to capture needs from OVA members who use the facilities and to build recommendations based on community, task force, and other input from Oakmont 2030 Community Conversations. The groups were asked to answer three questions:

The User Groups focused on:
- Fitness
- Indoor Gatherings
- Education and Arts
- Outdoor Gatherings
- Administrative Needs
In addition, a Walk Audit of the area within a ½ mile radius of the Central Complex was conducted.
