The LRPC continued doing research to gain a better understanding of the rental community in Oakmont\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During this same time period, an LRPC subcommittee did further study of competitive communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here are the questions that were asked: Competitive Communities Questions<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Here\u2019s how Oakmont dues compare with 30 other communities: Dues Research <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Here\u2019s\u00a0a summary of the findings about dues\u00a0in various CA adult communities:\u00a0<\/em>Dues Research Summary<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n A Club Survey of the 19 largest clubs was conducted to assess the potential for growth of the clubs, their current and anticipated future needs of additional meeting room space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Here is the summary of the findings: <\/em>Club Analysis <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The initial club survey was expanded and in 2020 all of Oakmont\u2019s Club were surveyed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fall 2020 Club Survey <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Oakmont Opportunity Sites<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n What We Heard From Oakmont Town Hall <\/p>\n\n\n\n LRPC held a Town\u00a0Hall was\u00a0held in November\u00a0that\u00a0summarized\u00a0of the information gathered in the Voices of Oakmont (2015)\u00a0survey,\u00a0the Future of Oakmont Town Hall (2018),\u00a0and research conducted\u00a0throughout\u00a02019 by LRPC.\u00a0\u00a0Four needs were\u00a0identified:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n clubs, and fitness center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n to attract new home buyers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n could be a source of revenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n and improve social interactions essential for this time of life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The summary concluded that \u201cMeeting these needs is essential to keep Oakmont competitive over the next 20 years and would be seen as affordable to new buyers and most existing residents.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
