All proposed improvements would be completed in compliance with current building codes and safety standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">ESG is currently obtaining bids for each component of the proposed work, which will be incorporated into the 90% development phase so that all three scopes have the cost estimates attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The project will continue through additional planning and refinement phases, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Further defining project scope and available options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Board review and discussion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Evaluation of which scope the Board wishes to move forward with<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In the coming weeks, ESG will reach the 90% development milestone. At that point, the Board will be asked to make a decision on a preferred scope of work and determine whether to move forward by entering into a contract with ESG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">At this time, three potential project scopes are being considered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Boiler and chiller replacement with required code compliance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Boiler and chiller replacement with code compliance and reserve study items (next three years)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Boiler and chiller replacement with code compliance, reserve study items (next three years), and functional improvements, including reconfiguration of Room G and expansion of the Berger Center to increase capacity<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">As a reminder, no costs have been incurred by the Oakmont Village Association to date, and no contract is currently in place. ESG is operating under a design-build approach, which is intended to provide a more streamlined process with no change orders on their end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">No final decisions have been made at this time.
